LG 3D TV has 2D to 3D conversion. The process generates a simulated 3D image from 2D content. It is important to remember that simulated 3D is not true 3D and will not be as realistic as genuine 3D content.
More than one manufacturer offers simulated 3D. It is best to consider this a bonus feature rather than one on which to make a buying decision.
i brought some active 3d glasses for my lg 42pw450t 3d TV but they don't work
Some 3D televisions have a 3D simulation feature. LG is one of the manufacturers who offer the feature on their televisions. The feature is NOT a conversion to 3D but a simulation. They have limitations and are not as good as 3D content. Treat the simulation feature as a bit of bonus and don't make a buying decision on this feature.
LG calls its 3D technology Cinema 3D so the 3D models all use that title.
LG only make passive 3D television. They do not supply any models that are active 3D.
No, there's actually Vizio 3D TV called Vizio Theater 3D. They use the same technology as LG.
LG Cinema 3D glasses are really cheap. You can get them for $5-$10 and you can even take one from the movie theater and use at home with LG Cinema 3D.
No my friend you cannot have LG 3D TV glasses separately. To get the glasses you have to buy LG 3D TV with new FPR technology. In SG type 3D TV technology the 3D effect comes out from the glasses but in the case of FPR technology the 3D effect comes out from the TV.
Sonic lg 3d tv.
Why don't you take FPR technology 3d TV? It is cinema 3d TV from LG. Its features are awesome. Cinema 3d TV can convert 2d to 3d pictures, provides flicker free images, and reduces cross talks, high brightness and so on.
Cinema 3D is the term LG uses for their 3D technology. This does not apply to all LG models. Only the passive 3D line in models that start with LW. Ex: LW6500, LW5600.
LG Cinema 3D is probably the best one to go for if you want a theater-like 3D experience. LG Cinema 3D series use the same technology as the movie theater 3D screens (as opposed to shutter glasses technology in other 3D tvs). LG Cinema 3D uses lightweight, battery free 3D glasses that give you flicker free and crosstalk free images. You can actually use 3D glasses from movie theaters with LG Cinema 3D (you can't with other 3D tvs).
Yes sir, I think so. My uncle living in China is also using the latest LG 3D TV. He recommended me to purchase a LG 3D TV. Nevertheless, I'm waiting for the launching of LG 3D TV in India. I believe my uncle's recommendation will go straight to the mark.
