Uh YES... when you download songs off of Limewire, that's called copywright. You know, illegally dowloading songs for free. When you get songs or movies off of limewire, you can easily track the fact that you stole songs... to answer your question yes they can find out. My advice to you is to never use Limewire. Not only is it illegal, but it can harm your computer and get you in trouble.....

You need to try out MP3Lingo.com. It is a fairly new service but they are getting really popular. They offer unlimited music downloads for only $2 a month (I don't know how they do it!) and they are 100% legal. I've been with them for some time and they have all the songs I need and their download speeds are fast. Check them out at www.mp3lingo.com when you get a chance.

No, you don't. You only need to pay if you install the professional version of Limewire, but if you don'tload the free version, you'll have to pay absolutly nothing at all.

You don't upload the songs your self to LimeWire. LimeWire will search your computer its self for songs. You will not be told that songs have been put on LimeWire. Don't worry, you won't loose the songs that you have. They only copy the songs off of your computer. If you look in the bottom left corner there will be a little box that has a number. That number is the amount of songs that had been took'n of your computer. KaZaa or KaZaa lite is another good one, but it has no viruses. The only downside is that it takes a while to download and there are a few rouge fake songs, but it downloads full mp3s, videos and moviesand it is completely legal!
