Yesm Mars has a very thin atmosphere mostly composed of carbon dioxide.
Mars is cold because there is no atmosphere around it to trap heat from the sun.
No. The light from the sun has to travel farther to get to Mars, so it losses more intensity than it would if it were only traveling to Earth. As a result, the sun is dimmer on Mars than it is on Earth.
mars doesnt have an atmosphere ...
The primary reason Mars is so much colder than the Earth is that Mars receives less than half of the of the energy from the sun as Earth does. This is because Mars is further away from the sun than Earth is. Mars' atmosphere is over 90% CO2, but Mars' total atmosphere is only about 0.6% that of Earth. Meaning that Mars has very little atmosphere of any kind to speak of, and so its atmosphere provides only negligible insulation to the planet. The net result is a very cold planet with very low atmospheric pressure. From an Earthling's perspective, Mars is no more hospitable than the vacuum of space.
Currently there is no real evidence that there is life on Mars. The atmosphere is too thin and there is not magnetic field to protect against solar radiation. Like the Earth mars might have been in the golden locks position.
Mars's atmosphere is thinner than Earth's atmosphere, Earth's atmosphere is also mostly Nitrogen and Oxygen, while Mars' is mostly Carbon Dioxide. Mars also doesn't have an ozone layer to protect it from ultra-violet rays.

Yes. Earth receives radiation. The atmosphere acts as a filter. The atmosphere of Mars is thinner than Earth. Mars receives radiation also.
It is far from the sun
because there is little atmosphere to protect mars the above is correct, however another reason as to why mars gets more Uv radiation is because it does not have a magnetic field unlike Earth that can deflect of harmful cosmic and UV radiation

It is very hot on the side that is facing the sun and very cold on the side that is not facing the sun. This is because Mars has a very thin atmosphere.
to protect us from the sun's harmful rays
Mars is burning hot because the atmosphere broke up so their is nothing protecting its surface from the sun's energy
mars doesnt have an atmosphere ...
