According to everyone I have talked to (many mechanics), Land Rover has it's own transmission fluid that it requires for its vehicles. And, it is only sold at the dealership. I was told by my Napa Auto parts guy that Amsoil produces a synthetic transmission fluid that will work.

Some places will give you a warranty on used auto parts, like auto parts stores that are selling used parts. If you get it from a junk yard though, buy at your own risk.
