Well, i personally have been using this spray for about a month. My hair is very short and frizzy and i spray it on right before i flat iron. Its great for protection i guess, but as for making your hair smoother and more sleek over time is B.S.!!! The only thing i like about it is that it makes my hair flat and stiff in the dry areas (very undesirable unless you have VERY short hair.) I will soon change to Matrix sleek.look flat iron protector.

Using a flat iron does everyday does not necessarily damage your hair. I flat iron my short curly hair every dayBUT i use 1.) a protecting spray against heat, & 2.) A moderate heating setting 270 F. It is very important that you use a spray that protects your hair ESPECIALLY when you flat iron you hair EVERYDAY!! I use Nexxus Sleek Memory Spray. Another good product is Matrix Sleek.look Flat Iron spray. The second most important thing to consider is how hot the flat iron is when used. Thin hair- straight hair should use between 200-240, curly & thick: 250-280 and very coarse unruly hair : 280-330. Never use more heat than need. And never, EVER get into the 400's. Most people don't realise how damaging it is to your hair. You may also want to consider getting your hair relaxed (like me).
