Nick Jonas stated that he was starting a new solo career because he wanted to try out sounds which were different from that of the Jonas Brothers. But even though he's releasing a solo album, the Jonas Brothers aren't breaking up. It is merely a side project.
It all started when Nick was signed to Columbia records as a SOLO artist. Joe and Kevin were there to submit some songs that they wrote for his album. The label heard the brothers and dropped Nick's solo album for the band. The Jonas Brothers were thinking of naming their band Sons of Jonas but decided on Jonas Brothers. You can look on Ebay for Nick's album but it will cost you about a hundred dollars (or more) for 11 songs. The band started around 2005 and their first CD came out in 2006.
the Jonas brothers didnt change their name, nick Jonas is doing a side project by releasing a solo album. his new band is called nick Jonas and the administration. the Jonas brothers band still exists.
Nick Jonas' birthday is September 16, 1992 He is currently 17. He was born "Nicholas Jerry Jonas" And is currently doing a solo project, but him and his brothers are not spitting up, "Nick Jonas and the Administration" They are touring and they also have an album out featuring their hit song "Who I am" Avaliable on itunes and album in stores 2.2.10
He's not going solo for good. It's just a solo project. He's coming out with his album, "Nick Jonas and The Administration", and seeing how it goes. He already stated that he's staying with the Jonas. But in my opinion, the Jonas Bros are getting old. I mean, Kevin is 22 and married, Joe is 20, and Nick, the only reasonable age, is 17. They're all still talented and succesful, I just think that Nick would be good solo. I love them no matter what! :)
