Yes it does kill both rats and mice. I did it at my cabin 3 summers ago. We had lots of mice and rats now there all gone.

The reason they die is because rats and mice can't burp. They can't vomit either.

  • I heard somewhere that high fructose corn syrup, contained in both drinks, causes rodents to get fat. This more likely to cause death in rodents (like mice and rats). High fructose corn syrup is nothing but cheap unhealthy crap.

Yup mice and rats love Cola. However, it kills them slowly. We managed to remove a lot of them in my uncle's barn a few years ago with the help of Cola, without appealing to any costly exterminator services!

Cola does not kill mice and rats. That is a vicious rumor started by the dairy industry...maybe not. As with any substance, too much of anything can kill you. There was a woman who recently died from drinking too much water to win a contest for a radio station. If you are thinking that rats and mice don't burp so they'll explode from the carbonation, that is not the case. They can burp just fine.
