Yes. The flag of Queensland was officially adopted on 29 November 1876.

Queensland is the only state in Australia that still features the imperial Crown on its flag. The flag is subject to alteration as the crown actually changes with the changing of the ruling Monarch. The Imperial Crown was used by Queen Victoria, Edward VII and George VI, whilst George V and Elizabeth II used the St Edward's Crown. So if, for example, Prince Charles reverted to the Imperial Crown when he ascends the throne, then the Queensland flag would change again.

What does the Maltese Cross represent on the Australian Queensland flag?

A letter in the Queensland State Archives reveals that not even the Queensland Government knows the significance of the Maltese Cross on the Queensland flag. The Victoria Cross was first offered in 1857 by Queen Victoria at the close of the Crimean War and Queensland was established as an independent state in 1859, just two years later.
