The 2002 Suzuki Grand-Vitara runs on regular unleaded.
The gauge and low-fuel light use different senders. The sender for the low-fuel warning is either malfunctioning or there is a wiring fault.
A 1995 Saturn SC1 does have a low fuel light warning. The light comes on at about 1/8 of a tank.
My light comes on when I have about 3 gal. of fuel left.
I have a 2002 suzuki and the fuel pump was inside the fuel tank on mine and the fuel filter sat at the top of it. you have to take the tank off to get it done. Sorry.
Sounds very much like the low fuel warning light
This is caused by a flawed design is the instrument cluster of 2002 model Volkswagen Beetles. It is a common problem that can be fixed by replacing the instrument cluster with one made after 2002.
If you have a warning light telling you there is water in the fuel, you will need to park the car immediately. You will then need to drain all of the fuel from the car before putting more gas in.
ADD FUEL
If there is a significant amount of water in the fuel tank, then there will be a warning light.
