Personally I think otter boxes are better than phone cases. The otter box keeps your phone much safer and are more durable than your typical phone case. Phone cases are usually made out of plastic or rubber, the plastic cases break rather easily when dropped. The rubber/gel cases are a little more durable but do not compare to otter boxes.
