"Yes, Tracphone offers a wide variety of things available. They have different brands of phones, services including data and texting and many accessories."
There are two types of TracFones now, CDMA and GSM. This refers to the type of network used by the phone. And CDMA phone works only on CDMA networks, and same for GSM. GSM phones have SIM cards, CDMA do not (for the purpose of this discussion, anyway). I'm not clear on your reason for asking this question, but that's your answer. A CDMA phone does not have a SIM card. For more on CDMA vs. GSM Tracfones, check out this page: http://pbush14.wordpress.com/2008/03/16/tracfone-cdma-vs-gsm/ I should also clarify here that if your phone is a GSM phone, it MUST have a SIM card installed to operate. Also, to be used as a Tracfone, a phone must have the Tracfone software installed on it. This means that it must have been purchased as a "Tracfone" model. You can NOT bring a phone from a different service and use it as a Tracfone.
No phone plans are more reliable. They can offer support for problems as well.
yes g to the website and it will show u cards that has 1000 minutes or less or more
You sure can. If it is out of minutes or its service date has passed, just put in a new pre-paid card code into the phone to redeem minutes and service days. You can also re-activate a phone online via tracfone account. Basically, you can reactivate the phone if you buy more service days/minutes.
Net10 is amazing - I have had both a net10 and a tracfone and net10 is by far better. The main reason is that it is always 10 cents/minute for a call - anywhere, anytime. Some net10 phone models also offer 3 cent texting. They also have more modern, sleek, and "stylish" phone models. This would be a good phone if you make frequent calls and texts. If you don't use the phone often then a tracfone might be a better option to look in to.
If you're planning on getting a prepaid phone, avoid tracfone at all cost! Virgin Mobile's prepaid service is much better and less expensive! Virgin Mobile (prepaid): $30 - 400 min 50$ - 1000 min as oppose to tracfone: $29.99 - 120 min $39.99 - 200 min Now, would a cell phone plan be cheaper than tracfone? Most likely, depending on how much you talk. Would I recommend tracfone? NO! NO! NO! Tracfone sucks! I can't understand why tracfone users don't opt for better cell phone options. The only reason why I used to have a tracfone was for international calling and texting since there's no extra fees... Bad Idea. There's still better alternatives for international calling such as Vonage. Trac fone sucks! End of story
There are no requirements to obtain a TracFone. They may be purchased at a variety of locations, such as WalMart or Dollar General. This brand of phone is prepaid which means you will not be under any contract while you have the phone.
EBay and Amzon offer phone cards at very reasonable prices with shipping costing a little more. Other retailers include Boss Revolution, Penny Talk and online Supermarket giant, Tesco.
You can buy a Tracfone at a local Tracfone outlet near your area. You can even check out their website to purchase one or find out more information about their outlets at http://www.freephonetracer.com/
it depends how many units you buy its cheaper the more tou buy
