I would not take them together...I was given amitzia and i took my zoloft with it and went into cold sweat threw up all over my work area and collapsed at work..Id ask your dr maybe you could take wellbutrin in the morning and then take the amitzia at night time but dont take them together.

**WELLBUTRIN & RITALIN***RITILIN is a brand name for METHYLPHENIDATE, [other brands: CONCERTA & METADATE] which is a stimulant generally prescribed for ADHD, SLEEP DISORDERS, SOCIAL DISORDERS & MILD DEPRESSION. WELLBUTRIN is generally prescribed for DEPRESSION, and also for quitting smoking (then it's called ZYBAN), which is the same drug as WELLBUTRIN [generic name BUPROPION. ] I would consult my physician and/or pharmacist before combing the two. Consult a doctor before you make any changes to your medication. Asking for medical advice from random unqualified people on the internet regarding possible life threatening drug combinations is much like playing Russian roulette. Seek a professional.---edit by another user---As a person who is prescribed both Ritalin and Wellbutrin by a psychiatrist, I can say, in general (but not as a doctor, cause I'm not one), it is ok to mix them. Often people with ADD have co-morbidities, such as depression, and Wellbutrin has been shown to mix well with other drugs because of it's unique (and not very well understood) mechanism. Wellbutrin is also often prescribed alongside Prozac. Just be careful with this mix. Wellbutrin's major side effect is lowering of the seizure threshold. A LOT of other prescription drugs also lower seizure threshold (such as Ritalin). A doctor would be able to clear you and tell you if you have a low seizure threshold and if it's safe. If you aren't going to a doctor, all I can say is that people are routinely prescribed this combo.
