No.
It falls between the 21st and the 23rd of December it is a 3 day festival :)
A Yule log is a log burned in the fireplace on Christmas. It comes from various Christmas traditions. The word Yule refers to Christmas day.
Christmas always comes on the same date, December 25th. Christmas does not, however, always come on the same day. Christmas can fall on any day of the week.
yes (Thursday)
New Year's Day and Christmas Day of the same year never fall on the same day. The 1st of January 1945 was on a Monday and the 25th of December 1945 was on a Tuesday. That is completely normal. A week after Christmas Day is New Year's Day, but that is New Year's Day of the following year. So Christmas Day 1945 would have been on the same day of the week as New Year's Day 1946, the next year. In the same way, Christmas Day 1944 and New Year's Day 1945 were on the same day of the week.
They never do.
They never do.
Xmas, Christmas Eve, Christmastime, Christmas Day.
It doesn't matter. Christmas Day is not influenced by the day of the week it is on. It always feels the same, no matter what day of the week it is on. So whether it is on a weekday or a weekend, there is no difference. So no day is best for Christmas Day to fall on.
Yule? Its not Yule, Yule is on the winter solotice....either the 21st or 22 not the 25th! there really isnt another name for it
The day Christ was born Xmas Christ's Mass Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas night, Christmastide, Noel, Xmas, Yule, Yuletide, the Nativity
To my knowledge, Yule (winter solstice) has never been on 25 December. The date of the winter solstice changes year to year and falls between the 20th and the 23rd of December. For all intents and purposes, many people observe Yule on the 21st.
If the 25th of April is a Sunday, then Christmas Day in the same year is always a Saturday.
