what is the preceger for replacing the head gaskets on a 1993 chevy suburban 4x4 350
It'll leak pretty bad without gaskets. I soak the gaskets overnight in a pan of water before installing. Seems to help.
head gaskets??? warped heads? did you have them milled?
Remove the cylinder head from your 1992 Chevy 350 cubic inch engine. Remove the head gasket and clean the surface. Put the new head gasket on and reverse the process.
That usually means it's lean. Check all vacuum lines and gaskets for leaks.
YES, Remove all old gaskets and replace with the NEW ones.
Just the lifters and gaskets. It would me smart to replace the timing chain and gears too.
You need the sealant on the ends where the supplied gaskets don't cover fully.
yes just get head gaskets for the 350 not the 327
the intake gaskets on these motors are known to break and coolant will run along the intake and head down the back of the motor.
