if it has a 3.3 there is no map sensor
The map sensor is on the air intake line to the throttle body....
Map Sensor is held on by 2 screws and has one black hose . Takes 3 minutes . It is located on the passenger side of the engine, at the top , in the general vicinity of the thermostat housing but higher up. Very accessible.
The map sensor on a 1990 Ford 5.8 EFI Bronco is on the passenger side. It is located on the firewall.
MAP sensor
The PCV valve is located under the MAP sensor on a 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. The MAP sensor is in the upper plenum.
After consulting several sources, someone finally called a local Buick dealer who informed me that a 1990 LeSabre does NOT have a map sensor, it was the Mass Air Flow sensor that needs replacing.
On the firewall on the pass side.
The map sensor is located on the fire wall towards the passenger side right under the wind shield.
The sensor will be mounted to the side of the intake manifold below the PCV valve
