can you tell me where my fusible link is for my 1994 Chevy lumina
My repair manual ommited a schematic for the '90 Mirage, but most of the other models show a 40 amp fusible link supplying power to the headlamp circuit. A fusible link is usually a short, special piece of wire that is made to melt safely and prevent the rest of the wiring from melting and causing a fire. Fusible links are often located in the engine compartment.
it is located in 1994 Chevrolet corsica
Search "PDFTown.com-GeneralElectrical" for Mitsubishi in google, I will try post the link if I can find it. here is the link; http://pdftown.com/PDF-Mitsubishi-Mirage-1993-1996-Electrical-Manual.html
Fords fusible links are usually connected to the battery side of the starter solenoid.
the fusible link is in the fuse box in the engine compartment. you will see the large fuses that should be black and yellow with a clear top piece. I just had a fusible link blow on mine and just replaced the 80amp one.
Check the fusible link coming off of the battery.
What ever circuit that fusible link protected would be dead if the fusible link is blown.
Generally the main fusible link comes off the positive side of the battery. They are usually marked (unless someone has replaced it with a generic fuse link )with a small tab "fuse link".
do a 1997 cutlass olds. have fusible link
Where is the fusible link on a 2002 Camry, and how do I change it.
The circuit the fusible link protects would be dead (no power).
