NO. That year transmission is electronic controlled. NO vacuum source needed.
Not in the vacuum line.
The vacuum modulator is located on the passenger side of the transmission, just above the tranny oil pan. It has a vacuum line going to it. It actuates a valve in the tranny for upshifts.
I believe that goes to the module. It's a little canister looking thing. Has a male vacuum nozzle coming out of it. But if that's off "your car won't be shifting right at all." I believe 1995 has electronic tranny. If there's no tranny modulator than I believe the hose goes to the elctronic part of the tranny.. This area of the tranny will have a large wire harness(s) coming out of it. Sometimes the area for the hose connection is recessed and hard to find. CIV
yes it does but i do not know where it goes to, i have a 98 and my vacuum line came off and is still connnected to the tranny
Could be a vacuum line or you're tranny is going out. Sorry.
It comes out the left side, towards the rear of the tranny. The metal line runs up on top of the transmission to a port behind the throttle body. Other vacuum line are also connected to that port.
there should only be 1 vaccum line to the tranny and it hooks at the back of the tranny on the passenger side to the vaccum modulator and the other end should hook to a vaccum line off the intake manifold.
Lift hood. Locate area between engine and transmission, look down, follow the vacuum line from the maifold to just above the starter. The unit screwed into the side of the tranny with the vacuum line coming out is the modulator.
Some of the HVAC controls are vacuum operated so, yes a vacuum leak could effect the cooling.
You most certainly can, however it does require a partner. Back before there were machines to do transmission flushes this is how we used to do it. Jack the vehicle up slightly depending on vehicle type. Disconnect the transmission fluid feed line from either the tranny cooler or the tranny itself (has to be the feed line) now with the feed line inside of a good sized bucket have a friend with a funnel ready to begin pouring new tranny fluid into the filler. Start the car and as the old tranny fluid exits the feed line in the bucket your buddy should be pouring new tranny fluid into the filler as soon as you see new tranny fluid begin to exit the feed line turn the engine off. Now doing it yourself will require a few additional quarts of trans fluid, but it is a small price to pay for saving on the labor. Good Luck!
what is the importance to the blood pressure control?
on some cars there is a automatic transmission modulator valve that tell by vacuum when to shift gears. If that valve goes bad you will get tranny fluid in your lines.
