The fuel pump cutoff switch is located behind the plastic panel to the left of the drivers foot well. On my car there is a label on the plastic panel identifying the location. Above the label is a finger hole to press the cutoff switch. The switch had to be removed (two screws) to reset it again.
If your referring to the emergency flashers.... it'snactually in the turn signal switch. i have a 94 mercury cougar xr7 and when i bought it the emergency flashers did not work. i in the end i had to replace the entire turn signal switch in the steering column.
