Yes it has a filter. But it is located inside the transmission and may not be replaceable without removing the transmission and breaking it apart. If so, change the fluid and forget the filter. Your owner's manual will provide this information, or you can contact a Honda dealer to see if this vehicle has a replaceable filter. Some do and some don't.

You don't. Most Honda transmission have a non-serviceable filter that is located inside the transmission. The transmission must be disassembled to get at the filter. It is designed to last the life of the transmission. By the time the filter is clogged, the transmission needs overhauling.
