oil drain plug vw jetta 2002
Synthetic oil only. Check for the "latest & greatest" German oil specs. (Don't use Mobil One!!)
A synthetic 5W30 will do you well.
A 2002 VW Jetta with the 2.0 liter engine takes 4.2 quarts of oil. 4 would probably be fine.
This spec can be found in the manual.. I use Full Synthetic 5w-30 in my 1999.5(newer body style)
A 2002 Volkswagen Beetle with a 2.0 liter engine should use synthetic oil. The oil weight for this vehicle should be 5w-40 or 5w-30.
Volkswagen recommends Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75W-90. (1.9L)
6.2 Quarts. 0w-40. Synthetic is better. Search www.VWVORTEX.com for more detailed info, including a step by step guide (with pictures) on how to change the oil on a 2007 Jetta (which is the same as any mk5) ~cheers!~
5W-30
5-30w
no oil or low oil pressure
A 1997 VW Jetta 2.0L I4 requires 4.2 imperial quarts of oil.
