Pre-Mixed FuelAs far as I know Honda does not sell any 2 stroke ATV's expesially in 2003 model year (Most older snowmobiles and Motocross bikes are 2 stokes). A 2 stroke requires you to mix 2 stroke oil with the gas prior to combustion because the oil lubricates the internal engine part's as it goes through the motor. I own a 2000 Honda TRX 450ES which is a 4 stroke. A Four stroke gets its lubrication from oil that is permanently in the crank case. An oil pump presurizes the oil and sends it to the vital areas of the motor. In a four stroke you are not required to mix oil with the gas because it receives its lubricating oil from the crank case oil. Provided that your machine is not a 2 stroke (which I doubt it is) you just have to check the your oil level add gas and go. I recomend an oil & filter change once yearly depending on use. I use AMS oil which I what the Person I purchased it from used. The is a specific oil for 4 stroke ATV,s that that company makes.
