Yes , I was looking at one of the Ford websites and for the 4.0 litre SOHC , V6
engine in a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac it lists :
( Motorcraft EV-268 as the part number for the PCV valve )
The drawing I was looking at wasn't very clear , but it looks like the PCV valve
is at the rear of the engine or the rear of thedrivers side valve cover , just
below the ignition coil pack with the six towers on it
The only factory engine in a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac is the 4.0 liter Single Over Head Cam , V6 engine which has ( 6 engine cylinders )
where is the pcv valve on a 2007 ford sport trac
please answer my question on how to replace ball joints 2007 ford sport track?
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : Yes , the Single Over Head Cam 4.0 litre V6 engine does have a PCV valve I believe it is on the REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover ( between the valve cover and the firewall )
