To fix a noisy drive axle on a Chrysler 300M, the U-joint bolts should be checked to see that they are tight. If the U-joint was recently replaced, the noise could be coming from the U-joint itself. It should be aligned with the transmission exactly as it was before replacement.

well u could buy 1 on eBay or even in the junk yard i have a Chrysler sebring 98 and the amp blew so i just conected the speakers direct to the stereo it does not makes a big diferense but i hope this anwer helps you..

Most likely cause would be a failed U-joint.
There is no cover around a u joint.
u need to take both the radiator hoses off the radiator and take a water hose to the top inlet. leave the cap on it. and let water run through it to flush it out.

If the u-joint has never been changed you can't grease them because factory u-joints don't have grease alimites...you will have to change the u-joint. After market u-joints have alimites.
