The transmission has nothing to do with your timing belt. If your vehicle is equipped with a 2.5l it has a timing belt. If you have a 3.0l it has timing chains. Cheers!

These are cigar lighter sockets. You should be able to get them from your Subaru dealer, but I replaced the one in the console of my Outback with a socket from the auto parts store.

The 2000 Subaru Outback has various wiper sizes based off of trim (sport is different than other trims). See sources and related links below for the wiper blade sizes by vehicle trim.
They require a special tool. Go to the dealer and buy new belts. They will come with the tool and instructions.
That all depends on where it is leaking. If it is not leaking the hose does not need to be repaired, the problem is elsewhere.
