I haven't looked at a 2007,but I would say the V6 has a belt and the 4 has a chain. You can tell by looking at cover around and above the crankshaft pulley. A belt will have plastic covers and a chain will have a sealed metal cover because a chani requires lubrication. Also look through the required maintenance schedule. You will see a belt replacement at around the 9 year/90,000 mile schedule don't Toyota requires the chain to be replaced. A chain usually begins to make noise and/or jump timing.Very reliable way to transmit power.
No , the 2.4 litre four cylinder engine in a 2007 Toyota Camry has a timing CHAIN
Yes

The 2.4 liter , 4 cylinder , in a 2007 Toyota Camry has a timing CHAIN
The 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in a 2007 Toyota Camry must have a timing CHAIN because the Gates website does not list a timing belt for it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes , that is correct , both the 2.4 liter four cylinder engine ( and the 3.5 liter V6 engine ) in a 2007 Toyota Camry use a timing CHAIN
please restate the question
