It has both
F32 - basically what it comes down to is shorted wires between the ECM and BCM, a bad ECM or BCM or a faulty prom or memcal inside the ECM or BCM.
Starts you off in second gear. Also changes the ECM profiles giving you better revs.
yesyes
location of the ecm on the Toyota land cruiser 93
The fuse that works the cooling fan(s) depend on the make/model/year of the car. In general cooling fans are controlled by a fan relay & fuse or by the ecm, bcm,pcm (ecm/bcm/pcm are computers)
To check the ECM on a 2001 Toyota Tundra, you will need the user manual.
A '96 jimmy does not have a body control module (bcm), it does, however, have an engine control module (ecm) located ontop of the coolant reservoir.
Yes all cars do this. Look for fuse lankest PCM, ECM,BCM,OR ECU
if it is the same as a 89 the bcm is behind the glovebox the ecm is to the right right of it
The Body Control Module For a 2001 Olds Aurora Is underneath your steering column, you have to remove 3 or 4 screw on the bottom black panel....then if you look under there, its in a white mount...and its the one closest to your driver side door...there is two, one is your ECM and the other is the BCM....the ECM is the one most visible, and like i said the BCM is the one closest to your driver side door
Did you check the BCM? Camaros have an ecm and a bcm. The ecm and bcm talk to one another ...bcm means body control module. Most BCMs are located inbehind the Glove Box. They are very expensive as is the ecm. The lighting probably flashed it's memory and now it is kinda screwed up. BCMs when flashed usually take on the flashed program permanently and have to be replaced. But be very sure before tampering with it. It can cause your car to go into security mode and not start. GM will have to take care of this one ...they have the programs for the make model and serial number of your particular car.. They are down loaded into the ecm and the first time the car is started after that the BCM is permanently flashed by the ecm. You really don't want it to be screwed up so take it to a dealer. It is very expensive. Considering the age of the car ..It might be a call on your part. It can cost upward of over a grand to fix.
For a FWD 1993 Cadillac Deville there is no F85 BCM trouble code. There is however an E85 ECM trouble code. ECM codes always have a prefix of E. BCM codes always have a prefix of F. E85 - Throttle body service required (throttle valve not closing).
