Part 40.331(g) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requires positive drug test results to be reported to the state CDL-issuing authority, which reports them to the Department of Transportation.
Any follow-on employer can--and better--access your driving record, which includes drug test results.
Basically, if you have a CDL you do NOT do drugs. It will come back to haunt you.
