Microsoft's Flight Sim X only works with the Windows operating system so to use it on a Mac you will need to install and run Windows on the Mac. There are alternative flight simulators available for the Mac the best one being Xplane. (See links below)

The short is answer is "not if you are running OSX solely." It is possible to run FSX on a mac, but only through Bootcamp or some other type of parallel. Applications such as "crossover" will not work either.
Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is created by Microsoft for Apple's Mac computers and it requires Mac OS X to work. A Dell is not an Apple Mac and is not running Mac OS X and so Office 2008 for Mac will not work.
