Narcissists are very aware of what they are doing. They are cunning and trap their victims. They often are very giving (to a fault) and will appear to be everywhere you are. It may be wonderful at the beginning of your relationship and certainly it can mislead a young woman, but he's beginning to "own you" and starting to "control you." Narcissists are extremely intelligent, but they are egomaniacal and feel those around them are lesser (a God complex.) They can be sweet and wonderful to others, but embarrass or demean their victim in front of others. Narcissists are usually smart enough not to let others see their ugly side so unless someone at a club or party and is paying close attention he can be very cruel to his victim without anyone catching on. They enjoy ruining any happiness in their victim's life and love to steal the thunder from their victim and even their friends or coworkers. They are dishonest, miserable and malcontents. Every action they take they know exactly what they are doing and they make it a fine art. Don't be fooled and get sucked in by any crying jag or pleading from this person. Run!
