No, not really. If the battery is trickle-charged back to full strength, it may go on with no further problem for a long time. But every time a battery gets dead enough to need charging, it "takes a little something" from the battery, and ultimately, it has a shorter life than it might have had, if it has had to be recharged repeatedly.
