This would depend on the type of camel and what you would conceder to be long. In my opinion any camel no matter the breed, has proportional ears to it's body mass.
e.g a camel. a camel stores fat in its hump so it can last up to several months without food. A camel doesnt sweat so that saves water. Also they have hairs inside their ears to kep out the sand and big feet to help them walk.
A rabbit with small ears has small ears and a rabbit with big ears has big ears.
