Hey, It doesn't hurt too much- it feels just like a scrach. To try to make you feel better think of your breething- It really helps

NO IT DOES NOT HURT! I had the jabs a litttle while ago. i am in year 8 and it didnt hurt AT ALL. Dont be scared of the little needle coz it doesnt hurt!!! My friend who is scared shitless of needles said it didnt hurt

look i don't know who u r and i am the scaredest person of jabs i found out i had 2 get the cancer jab 4 yr 8 and i was cryin about it all the way home from skool and my dad sed it doesn't hurt and so Thx so much i feel a little more confident now that my dad AND u hav sed it doesn't hurt so i really hope ur not just sayin that anyways thx so much

Hi! I'm pixie and i had my 1st Cervical cancer jab a couple of weeks ago. It didn't hurt at all and the needle is titchy! I am long sighted so i couldn't see it anyway but i saw was small! Anyway if you can u can get sum numbing cream from your local chemist. I used it and it really helps! (make sure u put it on 5 mins before)

and u can also get a tregaderm pad. this numbs your arm but put it in a high up place on your arm near ur shoulder cos that's where they put the needle in.

I was scared before I heard I was getting the jab, Im really really scared basically of any needles! But when I saw the needle I was fine it's tiny and plus its over within seconds, the nurse told me to think of music and I said are you done yet and she said ye it's all over. Didn't feel a thing but I know how you feel, good luck also you dob't even need the numbing thing, there's not a difference

It is not that bad. I really hate needles but i have had 2 out of the 3. It is just like a scratch with a pin and you will be ok.

I had my Cervical Cancer jab today... I looked everything up on the internet, from side effects to will it hurt, will I faint, will I be sick? I have a massive phobia of needles, sickness.. Just basically the lot! My friend came out and said " She was talking to me, and I said ' Do you have numbing cream because it might hurt ' I turned around and she'd already done it. " I was still petrified, I went in there, felt a little sting for less than 1 second, and I mean it, less than a second, turned around to say ouch and she was already done. its the shortest jab I've ever had, and I've had NO side effects. 1 in 100 people will feel sick, 99% of people WILL NOT get side effects. Dont worry, its absolutely nothing to worry about and everybodys making such a big deal out of it, its nothing! :)

23rd november 2012, i had my second jab. Everyone cries because they get worked up from looking at the needle itself, ask the person doing it to ask another person to secure you down so you feel safer. Just close your eyes and let your arm drop, its just a pinch! they instantly get some tissue to rub off the blood ( really dont be scared ) and then they instantly put a plaster on. They tell you to move it around even though it feels achey, if you dont move your arm it will go stiff. Hope this helps :)
