i have the same question. from what ive gathered, it was an option and is much more common on the 4x4/or v6 2wd models. furthermore there are people on the hardbody forums that have put pathfinder LSD's in their lil 2wd hardbodies. on a different note, theres a YouTube video of a guy with a welded rear axle in his 2wd hardbody doing some nice drifting....
Most are open, limited slip was an option.
Limited slip was an available option.Limited slip was an available option.
how do you get the limited-slip rear end on a 1990 Chevy blazer k-5 apart
No , the Ford Traction Lok ( limited slip ) was only available for the rear
There will be a small metal tag on the rear diff. It will tell you your gear ratio, and will have an "LS" after that number if you have a limited slip.
check the VIN
go to a GM dealer and they have a limited slip additive that you add to your rear end fluid.
prolly not
A limited slip diff, yes
The 01 ram 2500 has a possy rear end. it depends if it was ordered with a limited slip carrier. the diffs do not come with lockers. if it has a tow package it most likely has a a limited slip.
They came with conventional ( non limited slip ) or limited slip ( Ford Traction - Lok ) rear ends . The answer I submitted 3 hours ago for the same question has more detail
Not normally, but it was an option.
