A Dictatorship is a definition of a state in wich the government has 'dictates' its will. This definition includes the former Soviet union, Khadaffi's regime and Hitlers nazi Germany. These regimes were dictatorships although they regularly (some) held votes. So the right to vote has nothing to do with the definition of a dictatorship.
there really is none the only similarity is that sometimes in a dictatorship you vote for the dictator and in a parlimentary democracy you vote for representatives
Dictatorship is very oppressive rule among all.Citizens will not get the right to vote and choose their own representative. The government will not think in the interest of people either building lavish palaces for themselves. Most of the citizen may be killed in rebel. Then no one will try to rebel. So it concludes that dictatorship is harmful to the society.
there's a dictatorship in it right now. :(
The right to vote.
Unless I'm living under a rock Cuba is a dictatorship
No, the country is an absolute dictatorship.
According to Syrian Law, all people above the age of 18 can vote. In practice, Syria is a dictatorship and nobody votes.
A non-example of dictatorship is a democratic government, where power is vested in the people through elected representatives. In a democracy, citizens have the right to vote, express their opinions freely, and participate in decision-making processes. This contrasts with a dictatorship, where power is concentrated in the hands of a single leader or a small group, often with little regard for public input or civil liberties.
A dictatorship is when there is a single person, or small group that takes over a government and controlls the country. A democracy is when people vote for their leaders and can change government policy.
