a tear in a dogs stomach
They sure do! This is not anything unusual. Our Walker hound "mated" with one of our females. She even went into a false pregnancy. Got milk and everything.
Canine false pregnancy (or pseudocyesis) occurs after your dog has been in heat. This is because the hormone levels remain high to support pregnancy even if your dog has not been bred. Dogs may use blankets (or something similar) to make a 'nest.' They also may begin to treat toys (or similar items) as 'puppies', possibly guarding them aggressively. The best thing to do is take your dog to the vet who can perform an exam to diagnose the problem and give you advice on what to do. Hope this helps :)
Smaller and fanicer dogs
dogs?
no it will not
No! It will be bad for the dogs stomach! Do NOT feed lettuce!
Yes in large quantities. It will probably upset your dog's stomach in smaller quantities but if you can get your dog to continue to eat it after tasting some I would be amazed.
She could be having a fantasy pregnancy! just like humans can have false periods and pregnancies. this is not unusual for chihuahuas my little girl had one last season. However do get her checked as she still could be pregnant, chihuahuas may not start to show straight away. it only takes 1 time and male dogs can smell a female on heat from up to 3 miles away!!
