Occasionally. Fossils are rare, and most often only preserve hard parts such as shells and bones. Fossil invertebrates and even single celled organisms are known. A Russian group recently reported finding a fossil of two cells in sexual union.

On a side note, the preservation of fossils generally declines with age. Nearly intact DNA has been recovered from Neanderthal skeletons that are a few tens of thousands of years old and tissue residue containing highly degraded DNA was found inside a 70 million year old T-Rex bone. But no one has ever found even the slightest trace of DNA from a Trilobite, because the last of these died out some 250 million years ago.
