Girraffes do indeed eat lotus trees. I have come to the conclusion giraffes are part alien as I saw a bit of green in there eyes

I also noticed them having close relationship with monkeys, this is very probable as miss Kloester and Mrs Chingla told me so. Giraffes also find Christmas the most rewarding time of the year. They love to recieve palm oil as it endangers orangutanngs and you cannot believe Jesus

Yes, giraffes eat leaves. They also eat fruit and berries when in season and, although herbivorous, the giraffe has also been known to visit carcasses and lick the dried meat off bones.

Giraffe's usually inhabit Savannas and Grasslands that are abundant in trees like Acacia, Commiphora, Combretum etc. They browse on twigs of tree, preferring the Acacia, Commiphora and Terminalia. They also feed on grass and fruits. They don't prefer grass much because, they have to bend down to graze, which isn't so easy if we consider its size. A giraffe eats around 65 pounds (around 30 kilos) of vegetation daily, but during lean periods, they can survive with around 15 pounds.

Mainly, giraffes are browsers, that is, they eat the leaves of bushes and, especially, trees. In the wild their primary foods are the leaves (and twigs) of acacia, mimosa, and wild apricot trees (also various trees and shrubs in the genera CommiphoraandTerminalia). They also eat some fruit.

Giraffes do, however, eat some grass. These huge animals must splay their front legs wide to eat off the ground
