"the frog eats the goldfish, unless the fish are too big for it's mouth. " -unknown
Yes the goldfish will get along with him once they know what he is. And he will get along with them. I have one and the goldfish are tiny and some are big and he leaves them all alone. Ive had frogs for years with many kind of fish that are small and he always outgrew them and leaved them alone. But in other circomstances maby not. - aaron!
No you cannot put a frog with goldfish; goldfish belong with goldfish
No. Goldfish are a cold water fish and African dwarf frogs are tropical. Their waters carry different bacteria and they can make each other very sick.
gold fish just like their name the way it is
African clawed frog was created in 1802.
An African clawed frog is a species of frog, Latin name Xenopus laevis, with interesting genetic properties.
African Dwarf Frog
An African clawed frog would probably eat the minnows.
The African Luhya term for the English word 'frog' is Lishere.
African Dwarf Frogs spread from tropical, to subtropical areas.
Almost all goldfish can get along! i would recommend a ryukin, black moor, ranchu, fan tail if your looking for a goldfish, but for other lil critters, maybe a freshwater snail, or minnows (you can find those at a local creek) or a freshwater frog, Just make sure you have a lid and a place for the frog to take a break and hop out of the water. Comet goldfish are very fast and somewhat aggressive. Fancy goldfish should not be housed with comets because fancy goldfish's unique features/bodies often prevent them from being able to compete for food. A good tank mate other than another comet would be a shubunkin or a wakin because these fish are built similarly to the comet and can compete for food. As for a community- goldfish really should only be housed with other goldfish.
If the frog is small yes. If big the fish is likely to be eaten
What type of frog? African Dwarf Frog: yes.
