No because the Guru Granth Sahib was the 11th Guru and that was a Holy book!
Shri Guru Gobind singh ji
he was the last living guru
they are not they are two different people. guru nanak dev ji is the first living of the Sikh teachers and guru gobind sing ji is the last of the living guru's
Sikhism was started by the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak. His most famous saying being:Higher the Tryth is Truthful Living He was then suceeded by 9 other living Guru's. The collective teachings of these Guru's (and other Saints) have been written in the Sikh Holy Book, The Guru Granth Sahib.
because the holy book is like a living guru for the Sikhs because the holy book is like a living guru for the Sikhs
Guru Granth Sahib is the name of the Holy Scripture of Sikhism, but please note it is consider scripture outside the Sikhs not within the Sikhs, as Sikhs treat Guru Granth Sahib as a living embodiment of Guru and thus treat it as if it were a living person.
they belive it is a living thing and it is their 11th guru(present guru).instead of saying pages they say ang meaning limb.
Guru Granth Sahib Dev Ji is the living embodiment of Guru as well the eternal Guru of Sikhs, it contains the teachings of Sikhs Gurus as well as the teachings of Sikh Devotees.
Guru Granth Sahib Ji (the Sikhs holy book) contains the actual spoken words by the Sikh Gurus and thus those Words themselves are now the Guru of Sikhs. Furthermore, Sikhs consider Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the Living Embodiment of Guru for the same reason. Sikhs don't treat Guru Granth Sahib Ji as Holy Book but as a Living Guru. Also, the 10th Guru, Guru Gobing Singh Ji, announced himself that out final guru would be the Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
its a debatable question, but its quite obvious that the greatest Guru of all time is Jesus Christ.------------------------ANS:-2Jesus Christ is the son of God and not a Guru.ANS.3:Jesus Christ is considered as son of God and not a Guru as in Sikhism.
Because guru means teacher and the tenth (last) guru said there would be no more human guru's but the book was just the same as him so they called it guru because they rely on it when they have problems in it.
Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the 11th and eternal Guru of the Sikh religion. Though it can be seen as a scripture from an outside view but within is Sikhism, it is treated as the living embodiment of Guru and respected in that manner.
