No. Anyone playing games and playing hard to get isn't worth getting. It is a turn off and should be a warning signal because obviously they aren't very serious.

Men are different. There is no single answer because there is no single male personality.
Some men are excited by a women who they think is "hard to get" and they try harder to get her attention. However, her perspective on the situation may be completely different. She may not be attracted to him. She may know him and not like his personality. She may have heard about him from other women, decided to avoid him and doesn't know exactly how to get rid of him. Of course, some women make a game out of relating to men and some men are indeed turned on by those types.
Some men simply move on and others get angry.
