I wish it was now. I've just come to realise that my nearly 30 year old daughter is an N, and has been for as long as I can remember. From a very early age, she has verbally abused me, I've never said anything right, in her eyes, if I said black, she'd say white, I often wondered who was the mother, her, or me. I never, ever, in my wildest dreams wished any of my children dead, but in her case, it would be a relief. I've given her too much and I'm sure that's what she's feed on - she's a real parasite.
Never. I have a sibling who has been a raging narcissist all her miserable life and if anything, she is getting worse. The family has all left her (including her daughter). None of us can stand being around her. She lies and is completely self-absorbed. She thinks we all avoid her because we're mean. She can't even begin to wrap her ginormous head around the truth-we've all decided we don't need to deal with her sick manipulations anymore. She is history. She can live out the rest of her life with her biggest fan to keep her company-herself.
Of course they do.

He is a narcissistic jerk.
Be careful if you do, the narcissist can be a monster to anyone who hurts their pride.
It's certainly possible. A narcissist may date another narcissist that is more selfish than they are to feel better about themselves. In turn say "i'm not as selfish as he/she is so that makes me above him/her). It's incredible and shocking the way people with this disorder think. It takes a lot of research to understand a narcissist.
The cast of The Narcissist - 2012 includes: Tim Drake as The Narcissist Jordan Eyre as Crying Man Jeremy Wise as Billy
It is possible to show up a narcissist publicly, but if you do, the narcissist is going to be very angry at you. It is not always a wise strategy to make enemies.

Probably not, they would fight over mirror time. ;)
depending on if your the narcissist or just someone around the narcissist..... if you are the narcissist dont worry it wont effect you. You will just continue on with your selfish ways and use people for what they can do for you. If your someone around the narcissist..... RUN- get out while you can. The only way to really survive is to not have them in your life
They don't "turn into" a destructive narcissist... they just drop the "nice guy" facade they used to lure you in.
There is no such thing as a 'compensatory narcissist'. It is a fake term made up by psychopath Sam Vaknin (see Related Links). No Contact with a Narcissist is always best.
