An OB/GYN makes more money then a Peditrician but they make almost around the same pay but an obdtetrician just makes a couple of hundreds more then a pediatrician but if you love kids pediatrician is the best job for you
Yes, I'm pretty sure they do.
New York and California
You make more money and you have more benefits.
According to what I have read, an Obstetrician is a Gynecologist, but a Gynecologist is not always an Obstetrician. Being an Obstetrician you must be able to identify, treat and handle the female reproductive system just like a Gynecologist. However, I believe you can practice being an Obstetrician without beings a Gynecologist. If your more keen on just the delivery and treatment for newborns, consider neonatology.
Generally a plastic surgeon will make much more money than an OB/GYN
It would depend on whether or not they were private or not. Private would more then likely make more then government subsidized.
For what? I would take the child to a pediatrician and get a referral if the doctor thought it necessary. If you mean as far as a career is concerned, pediatricians do more good, psychiatrists probably make more money.
Considering it takes 11 or more years of college to become a pediatrician, and can costs somewhere around 500,000 dollars to complete all of the training to become a pediatrician, they don't make very much money. When the earning potential of a pediatrician is compared to a person who starts work coming out of high school as a UPS driver, it takes more than 20 years for the pediatrician to catch up to the money made by the UPS driver.
Yes. It would not be uncommon for a neonatologist to make twice what a generic pediatrician makes.
a pediatrician can average between $120,000.00- $200,000.00 but it depends on your education and how good of a doctor you are some pediatrician make more than that amount.
Most times, a psychologist will earn more money. It can depend upon the experience of the doctor and the type of pediatrician they are.
A Pediatrician
Theoretically, disregarding major factors like advertisement and more narrow location, yes; there would be more people in need of a pediatrician, and thus, more business. However, if the area already has a handful of pediatricians, a new pediatrician may make a similar income compared to working in a less populated area (since there are a variety of pediatricians in the area, and people are divided between all the competition).
