put the filter in rinse for a little while and see if that helps You have a damaged filter element in the D E filter. A: Sand filters will sometimes blow dust back to the pool.
You have to take off the back cover and there is the filter. Do not wash it just blow on it and get off all the dust.

Purchase a Purolator filter. It comes with complete instructions. Right side (passenger side) bottom of front window behind fender and fire wall, there is a hidden compartment that houses the filter, its a little tricky to find but its there. I got the dealer ship to show me, and by the way just clean the filter with vacuum or blow it out, filter cost 50-75$, too much!
Its next to the carborator it could be round or square if its a new model its mage out of sponge and you can rinse it clean with water then add a little motor oil to it to help colect dirt> If its an older model it could be made on paper in that case you can blow it clean with air or lightly bang it clean but the paper ones should be replaced when dirty
the fuel filter is inside the fuel tank. it is attached to the petcock,its a little screen. you have to remove the petcock to clean it properly. or you can blow air back through the gas line,this will free up the dirty screen a little. make sure you take the gas cap off the tank,or it could rupture the tank. always use extreme caution when working with fuel.
Clean the carb out and put a new inline fuel filter on it and don't ride it until its fixed or you will blow it up

A cabin Air filter, needs to be changed periodically to clean it of all the dust, dirt, and mites and pass through it daily, accumulation into a dirty problem. Use an air compressor to blow it out. Then use the hose to rinse it off, next dry and ta da you all clean.
If you can blow through the filter with no constrictions it's fine.
