No, not generally. To be eligible for militarybenefits of any type you must serve a minimum of 6 month to one year active duty. A listing on a reserve roster does not qualify.

It would be different if you had served any time on active duty before reporting, and were injured or otherwise affected by health issues (service related only) requiring a discharge, since we're currently in a wartime status (since 1990) for Veteran qualification.
