Go to Port Canaveral.com and look up ground transportation. There should be plenty of buses that travel between the airport and the port that are cheaper than a taxi. Carnival Cruises offers bus transportation on the day of your departure and the date of your arrival. I am sure Disney also offers some type of bus service between the airport and the port as well. There must be some type of bus service that will be cheaper than a taxi, and guarantee that the ship will not leave port until you get to the docks, something a taxi can not do. Contact your travel agent and see what types of ground transportation connect the airport and the port.
