i belive you do, they are starting to become tighter on those laws across the US... but i think it goes away after 5 years or maybe less....

Basically, yes. Point systems vary from state to state, but generally if the offense is one for which points would normally be assessed, then the fact that it's your first ticket doesn't matter.
At this point yes it will as of 2005 the Government has been enhancing the computer systems.
I assume you are asking if there is some way to have your ticket deleted from your record. There is not once you have been found guilty.
Your best bet is to go to an IL approved traffic school to get the ticket removed.
