A common name of Thai Tiger Rump doesnt provide an accurate guide to what species this could be. Many terrestrial species in Asia are given the common name of Earth Tiger and they often have a tiger rump pattern on their abdomen. The most likely tarantula is either Cyriopagopus or Haplopelma. All Old World tarantula possess a strong venom, and lack the urticating hairs of the New World tarantula that possess much weaker venom. A bite is likely to create intense burning sensation at the wound, muscle and joint pains up the arm, nausea, possible breathing difficulties and heart palpatations. You're recommended a visit to the hospital but don't expect any miracle cures or anti-venom, you'll be observed and given pain killers. There are no credible reports of anyone dieing from a tarantula bite, but there are reports that suggest a secondary infection has attributed to near fatal or possible fatal results.
