drivers side below air intake hose
There is no transmission vacuum hose. That is a vent hose.
driver side below air intake hose
Check the transmission cooler, located in front of the radiator. Flush the coils with a hose to insure that air can flow to cool it.
its a vent hose
Look under the air filter and mounted on the transmission facing the radiator is a gray and round metal valve with a vacuum line attached.
The dipstick for the automatic transmission is located about a 6inches to a foot from the drivers side headlight and in front of the air intake hose. hope that helps
The transmission dipstick on a 1986 Toyota Celica is toward the back of the engine compartment on the passenger side of the motor. It is behind the air intake hose.
No. At the junction of the small hose to the pressure is great
No, they are different.
Have some one pump clutch pedal and hold to floor, open bleeder valve on slave cylinder, its bolted to transmission,it has 2 bolts holding it on to transmission with clutch line screwed into it,have clear hose connected to end of bleeder valve and other end of hose in glass container, watch to see when air is no longer coming out of bleeder hose, you may have to pump and open a few times till air is gone.
You don't. The 1996 model describes the transmission as "forever filled", therefore, there is not a cap to view the status of the fluid. Not really: The dipstick for the transmission fluid is near the air box and under a hose.
