For starters you best conquer Mathematics. You are going to use tons of math calculations including fractions in the field of carpentry. Some high schools have Wood Shop, and you should definitely get into that class. Ok, I don't know who answered that but they are not very bright. I took a wood shop/ construction class all 4 years of high school and I didnt need to know anything about math except measure twice cut once. All you need is to take construction management, and that should take you from foundation through roofing, plus additional detail and codes for homes or buildings.
