yes it does.
Without an Action Replay, there is no easy way to fill the National Pokedex.
The reason for the action replay is basically for you to have cheat codes for your ds but in order for them to work is for you to look up action replay codes and figure out how to enter them into your action replay card
DS action replay and DSi action replay are both destrutive to ALL games. The reason why it is because it is known to BLOW UP a ds or dsi or game card your using.
Just put Action replay into your DS's Game slot and turn it on then when the Action replay screen comes up then take out Action replay and replace it with your game card then press the star ,select the codes you want and press start
1. Insert the Action Replay disc and connect your Action Replay card to the USB Cable. 2. Pull up the Action Replay window screen 3. In the upper right corner of the window you will see Update Software 4. Click that button and your Action Replay should be fully updated! (WARNING: It may take up to 6-9 weeks until the next update!!!!!)
There are four possiblilities: 1. Just blow onto the electronic reading part of the game card and into the ds game slot hole. 2. The game card is broken 3. The ds is broken. 4. It could somehow have nothing on it ( the game card)
Yes, you have to get the golden trainers card or have an action replay and search up a cheat.

You need to cheat. If you have an action replay then look up the cheat code for activating the Darkrai event. If you don't have an action repay then you can probably buy one at you're local gaming store. If it's not there ask the Clark about it.
srry, but action replay has special software to put codes in your ds, either buy a action replay, or give up trying to hack :(
Do not use the action replay it screws up your system!
There is one just either look it up on Google or YouTube it works for me.
